Is it possible to export the 3D preview of a circuit board?

Currently, export 3D view isn't available. But we will add it soon. In fact, it doesn't matter for 3D export what shape board has.

No, it won't be available soon because we are developing some new features (customizable mechanical layers, for example) except 3D export.
