 Post subject: How to measure component location from edge of board outline

The measure tool snaps to pads, etc. well. But it doesn't seem to allow you to precisely determine the distance from a board edge to a switch location for example. Is there a way to snap to the edge or must I zoom in and get as close as the eye determines?

No, snap to board edge doesn't work with measure tool. I will add it to suggestion list.

Why not just set the origin to one corner of the board? Then the part location can be viewed in its properties.
