Pattern Editor and PCB Layout have this functionality, why not Component Editor?

I can understand Diptrace has other priorities than get comparable tools in CAD drawing than other specialized softwares (snaping, reference points, coordinate input methods, layers, blocks, ...). For this reason is better to make good importers (2D & 3D). In Pattern Editor exists some troubles importing filled shapes in silkscreen, and the workaround is importing in mask or paste, and then move to silk silkscreen layer.

In Component Editor, are only 3 basics mapping layers:

1.- Pins
2.- Drawing
3.- Text

I know the efforts growing the base libraries, but there are users that have their own workflow with libraries (mechanical, patterns, symbols and 3D), and use complex software and layer organization to be EDA Software independent and for other simulation and documentation process. In other words: be confident with its own material and do the effort independent of one software in the toolchain.

Thanks,
Javier
