Hello again,
I tried to look around but could not find the post, even though I seem to recall a similar issue has been described on this forum before.
Anyway...
I use DipTrace for study projects, and mill my PCBs with a CNC router. That also means hand soldering. Lately, I finding myself modifying some pins that I know are going to be tricky to solder, to make them oblong etc. when possible. The milling method does not produce the best PCBs with regards to soldering, so this can be a big help.
However, when I renew my PCB from the schematic, all these per-pin modifications are lost, even for components that have not been changed or updated.
I would really like there to be some more fine grained control over how/what the renew function does, especially since modifying individual pins is very time consuming. I could live without this extra control if it was possible to do a quick, "set some parameters, then click on each pin to apply those params to it", but that's another feature request ...

Am I missing something already there? Otherwise I hope you'll consider this.
Best,
Tomas
