Re: DipTrace Team has the question to our users
Try looking for the base numbers. Many vendors made similar chips. For example instead of CD4511 look for 4511 and you'll get a match in the MC14511 in various footprints.

Re: DirPrace updates or upgrades
All 4.0.0.x updates include bug-fixes for existing features and minor polishing only. If anything works incorrectly in DipTrace, you can report that here and the next 4.0.0.x build will have it fixed. That has not been the case for a Mac problem where access to user-level directories is still not s...

Re: DirPrace updates or upgrades
Agree, fairly major to upgrade eight user installations, especially on Macs, where the license keys disappear each time.
It would be helpful to know what specifically has been fixed to manage the upgrades better.

Release Version Notes
Does anyone know where the release version notes might be?
For example, what was changed in DipTrace v4.0.0.4?

MacOS 10.15 Catalina Support
Having issues in seeing any files outside of the DipTrace folder.
Can see the top-level folders like Documents but nothing inside.
Is this some kind of protection issue I need to set up somewhere?
Same DipTrace V4.0.2 was working fine under MacOS 10.14.

Re: MacOS Catalina and DipTrace 4.0.0.2
I am also having problems with the same MacOS Catalina except my issue is I can't seem to access files on the Mac. I was previously running the same DipTrace on MacOS 10.14 and had file access. Now, when opening these previous files, on MacOS 10.15, I get nothing opening. Similarly when using the fi...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 beta
Will the final DipTrace 4.0 have a version for the Mac?
I understand that pure 64-bit applications should run correctly under wine on Mac Catalina.
So, is DipTrace pure 64?

Re: New Release 3.x or 4.0?
Spent 2 hours today to organize list to readable view (probably not full yet as I still found new items in our records). All these features already done and partially debugged. Main development process had been finished and now we test/fix bugs. Imports/Exports are still in process of upgrade. Exce...

Re: Scanned Circuits
I'm not aware of any schematic capture program that can scan in circuits or PCBs. Certainly DipTrace can't do this. You need to fill in the values of resistors and capacitors yourself. Some people build a library of parts to do this automatically. AFAIK there are no prefilled values in the DipTrace ...
