perfect inside corner

Most manufactures use a 0.1" bit to route the board edge So minimum radius is 1.27mm as they will not attempt to make a 90deg inside edge. 1: define origin by mouse pointer, select the 90deg corner point. 2: insert two new board points at 1.27mm and 1.27mm 3: change the corner point as arc and move ...

Default paste shrink is to large, make it 0.03mm by default

Why would you Novarm set the default that renders tsop pins like hairline thick? oshstencils.com now have to warn all diptrace users to resave the paste file. See picture below So 0.03mm seems like a good number. I actually would like 10% settings instead, as 0.03mm on large pad is nothing and I hav...

Re: Editing a copper pour

Nothing about thin ground lines for caps here:
http://www.ti.com/lit/an/scaa082/scaa082.pdf

Separate skinny ground trace to a single point location is good sometimes.

I would just select skinny thermals, but this idea of "poor" ground for caps don't seem as industry norm.

Re: thermal vias

Tenting the bottom is not recommended as gas-out can happen, though not tenting bottom and it can create a wicking effect. Tenting the top layer of the via is hard, as even if you disable soldermask for the via, the soldermask for the pad itself will override it. So somehow the custom made pad with ...

Re: Unwanted solder mask on a via - help!

Tented via's is what I prefer. Sometimes open via's is good up you think you have to use them as test points or put a jumper due to mistake. if Via's is not check-marked when you export gerber solder mask, then it will be tented. Some manufactures can only do open or tented if both sides of the via ...

DipTrace to TM245P Pick and Place conversion provided here

For the new NEODEN TM245P As the upper left corner of the work area is a fixed point, this most likely will be your starting point and these are the offset for it: #Circuit OffsetX OffsetY Skip 10201 -180000 180000 0 When you export a pick and place csv file from Diptrace, if you place the origin at...

Re: Can't get trace with square ends?

Add node to trace so it's the same thickness as the pad you connect to,
Now create shape that is a signal/plane.
After you drawn it, connect it to the same net (in properties)

Re: Ordering PCB's

>Bay Area circuits is often less expensive than Oshpark for very small boards
How is that possible?, with OSH I often pay $1.50 each for 3 smaller boards with first-class mail shipping included.

Re: Ordering PCB's

Go with oshpark.com, just name copper layer gerbers Top and Bottom and then zip all gerbers
