I have two components (my own from my library) on a schematic. The 'ground' pin on a PIC U2 is called Vss and on an L298 U3 is called Gnd. Thanks for the reply Alex, I want to be able to move groups of pins around independently and place them in different order, 8 on a PIC port and 3 on a Pot for example. I know I can use a net and have no wires, or a single header and have many wires crossing but I like my schematics to be easily read...

Deleting a .eli library removes it from Schemetic. However deleting a .lib library still shows the attached pattern for the components in Schematic. So how does DipTrace know where it is? It seems prudent to create personal libraries as recommended. But how many? For most components there should be ...

I created an 11 pin header as one component with 11 parts as shown below. However when I place it in a schematic and show the pin numbers they are in order but the RefDes are randomly different.
