Here is a screenshot taken right before pressing the Import button, show that the Fill closed areas Embedded Polygons, and that I am importing int a new PCB and that I am importing into the Top Pads layer.

Note that both of these DXF files were created from pure sketch models with the minimum geometry. Both appear closed and correct even when zoomed fully in using the Autodesk DXF viewer. I had selected Fill closed areas but did not get the results shown in your 3rd example above. Is that an actual screenshot from the current version of diptrace after importing my file?
