Re: The IPC-2581 standard?
It would be nice if DipTrace did support IPC-2581B natively.

Re: PCB Layout editor - Hide Silk Drawings
+1000 for this feature also. Hacking with gerbers is not an acceptable workaround.

Re: Problem renaming net port
Unfortunately I don't get consistent results. With a new, clean schematic, I was able to insert and rename a +5V NetPort (using any of the methods mentioned above) without having to rename the pin, without any error. On other existing schematic, I have also been able to rename a NetPort without havi...

Re: Problem renaming net port
3.0.0.2, Win 10 x64.
Yes, it has worked for me before. I have just tried doing the same thing on some other schematics I had created before (including earlier versions of the one shown above), and no problems. Perhaps a bug, or corruption in my schematic file.

Re: Problem renaming net port
That process is exactly what I have been doing. It is when I try to rename the NetPort that the error occurs.

Problem renaming net port
I have placed a "VCC" net port in a schematic from the components... Net Ports library. I double-click on it and change it's name from "VCC" to "Vin". When I click ok I get a warning that " Net-port connection failed ! The following pin can not be found in some net...

Re: Component editor pin name/number rotating
Ok, thanks. I misunderstood the comment above "One work-around for rotating pin names would be to hide the names and put rotatable text labels in their places" - I thought it meant that labels were rotatable.

Re: Component editor pin name/number rotating
I have the same issue - wanting to rotate component labels in a schematic. I've added some labels to a component as text, but once inserted into the schematic, I am not able to rotate/move those text labels with the F10 command. Am I missing something ?

Delete related schematic ?
I have made a schematic and a related pcb for a design, and now I want to re-use some of the board layout for a simple test fixture. I have just made a copy of the pcb file, and then deleted the components and tracks which I don't need. Because the test fixture is very simple, there is no need for a...
