Re: Layer draw order in PCB is often incorrect
Hi Alex, Thanks for your reply, the top layer was the active layer at the time that the screen grab was taken. What I am pointing out is that the orange layer (inner 2) if you look at the picture you can see orange tracks in two places. Both are on the same layer. As well all the blue traces are on ...

Layer draw order in PCB is often incorrect
The layer draw order when working in Diptrace PCB is often incorrect, this can become confusing when working on many layers. I include an attachment which shows the blue layer (bottom) sometimes being shown above the orange layer which is inner 2 signal. Check the capacitor on the rear of the PCB, t...

Re: Many unable to create 3d model by entered dimensions dialog after selecting from PCB "3D", eventual program quit!
An update on this issue, after clicking "OK" after clicking 3D in PCB on resulting dialogs during 3D model creation "multiple times, about 20 to 30 times" on a PCB with many parts (for a brief time the full 3D PCB is displayed with most of the parts rendered; but is then replaced...

Length Matching Window Bug
In length matching window when clicking "Add Net/Pads" or right clicking trace in PCB and adding it to length matching, when you have consecutively added a number of traces to the point that the scroll bar appears (For example routing DDR3 that has many traces), subsequent traces added sta...

Many unable to create 3d model by entered dimensions dialog after selecting from PCB "3D", eventual program quit!
Hi, I think I find a bug and also a rather serious code design issue; when check the 3d model that is auto generated by IPC generator (in library and also in the dialog before create a 3D view from PCB) it is fine. So for example click "3D" on PCB toolbar then click the "..." on ...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 Release
Found out that you can right click on a list item in schematic and PCB and choose list width to adjust the width of the Place Component side bar. Not a very obvious solution given the usually expected method to drag it; but it has made library names readable again; cant seem to find a solution for t...

Re: DipTrace 4.0 Release
In component editor the "Select Component" sidebar on the left is horizontally re-sizable. That is useful since it is possible to view the full name of the component and library. In PCB and schematic editors it is set to a fixed horizontal size which at least on my Windows system is too na...

Re: Remember window sizes & positions
I totally agree with this, it can be particularly annoying with the window maximizing each time opened if you have a large 4K display with lots of other applications open. Application remembering window setup is a standard thing these days, or should be. If a solution implemented to fix this annoyan...
