Re: Manufacturing data for PCB

Amusing, the table was 10 times the size of my PCB. I exported ODB++, it has all that information, but I can't find a board shop that supports ODB++ that I can afford. The PCB information is what the PCB manufacture has listed, standard for the PCB manufacture, it is not something I'd be likely to '...

Re: looking for SM4007 component

There are two "surface mount" packages for this device. The obsolete but still available SM4007W comes in the SOD-87 ("MELF") glass-passivate round package. The SM4007PL comes in the SOD-123FL plastic package. SOD-87.jpg SOD-123FL.jpg DipTrace does have the SOD-87 and the SOD-123 in its " General "...

Re: The Silks, Top Vs Bottom

I copied a pot from the general library to my working library then added a silk screen to the bottom layer around the pins with the pattern editor, saved it, opened PCB editor and placed the pot, placed a boarder outline and viewed the 3D board, bottom silk screen around pins as expected. Next selec...

On a 'onesie' I just use copper pours and Copy Matrix, it's quick.

Re: Custom Footprint Covered Pads in Version 3.3.1.3

Interesting, it seems when do this in the pattern editor instead of the PCB editor, the pads end up still being exposed in the preview. Now we get to the tricky part: When you updated a pattern you must delete it from the component in the component editor and replace it with the updated pattern, up...
