Lipo Battery C rating debunking
Hi all, I am in need of some new Lipos and I am wondering About the "C" rating. I have heard many different opinions from many sources; some say that "no C rating is above 30c" and that higher "isn't possible". In the same breath, I've heard people saying that you shoul...

potentiometer problem
I'm looking for the specifications for a potentiometer that isn't labeled. I'm looking for a pot that fits the specifications of the one I have. I'd like to add another pot to the circuit so that I may control it from two different places. I've recognized the wires and voltages, but I'm not sure how...

357/LR44 battery question
Can someone tell me how the silver oxide 357 size button cell batteries compare to LR44 button cell alkalines in terms of run time? (For instance, in a Pelican L1). Is there a difference between silver oxide and alkaline in terms of run-time? When I swapped out the LR44 s in my L1 for the 357s, I sa...

Harness Diode question, Will 1N4001 or 1N914 work?
I am in the process of doing my retro with e55 bi xenons, and because I'm on an h4 system, I want to make sure the low beam doesn't cut out when the high beam is activated, thus I'm connecting them with a diode. I was looking for a 1N4005 diode as has been listed in most diagrams. I wasn't able to f...

Color Code of Resistor
Hey, guys!
I created a resistor program that calculates resistance from colors, but I'm not sure how to convert resistance to color. Can you assist me with putting this together?
For example, if I enter 100 ohms and a 5% tolerance, the hues brown, black, brown, and gold appear.

How to use a thyristor?
Hello there, everyone!
I'm trying to figure out how to use a thyristor properly.
This is required for the board's safe operation.
Where can I get the source code for thyristor usage?

What is the best way to get from BAT54A to BAT54C?
For BAT54A, there is a diode. However, the supply current is insufficient for my needs. BAT54C is exactly what I'm looking for. Only the name changes, but the schema symbol and PCB footprints remain the same. What are all of the locations where I'll need to go to complete the replacement? If there i...

No Output SPI Clock Pin
For my design, I'm utilizing an STM32F103CBT7 with HAL functionalities and a 72MHz system clock. SPI 1 is set to Master, with a 16-bit data width and a data rate of 18 MBits/s. There is a data bit on the MOSI pin when sending data out, but no Clock pulse on the SCK pin. I'm stumped as to what's wron...

STM32F103RET6 programming
Hi everyone. I'm new in the STM32 world, though I've made a lot of projects with both pics and AVRs. So I've bought the STM32F103RET6 stamp, but I really don't know where to start! I know the programming language is C, but I don't know which IDE to use! I've heard about Ride7? Then I've also heard a...

RAM Selection for PC Build
Budget (including currency): $6000 Country: USA Used for: games, programs, or workloads I'm building a computer and I don't want to overclock my RAM because I won't need to for years based on the PC specs I'm creating. With that in mind, my question is which set of RAM should I buy. Option 1 : G.Ski...
