Re: Marking upside-down. PCB 4.0 beta 1
Hi Freddy - I'm not certain about the Mac version. I run Diptrace on a Mac Pro, but I run it in a virtual Windows machine (VMWare Fusion) - I do not like Wine (the 3rd Party framework that runs the Mac version), it does not work well. I don't like Wine either. I agree. Working in a virtual machine ...

Re: Marking upside-down. PCB 4.0 beta 1
Also exporting the BOM which worked fine in previous versions doen't work well anymore. Only 1 value is exported. Means you have 100 x same value instead of all different values. Not usable. Okay. I found out how to make it work again by changing the setting in "Group Rows by:" pulldown m...

Re: Marking upside-down. PCB 4.0 beta 1
Hi Freddy63 - update to the latest version (4.1.2.0), the option is now in place, and works great. I tried with different MAC OS, up to Catalina, no success. I have to turn the components like resistors, caps etc, to optimize the routing. Turning a resistor also turns the marking. It was not like t...

Re: Microsoft MSXML is not installed
Okay. I moved Diptrace to my other Mac running Catalina. There it works with version 8.x without freezing anymore on an error message.

Microsoft MSXML is not installed
When I try to import an eagle board.brd file (made with version 6.x and version 8.x), I get an error message: "Microsoft MSXML is not installed". I'm working under OS X.
Nerver seen this one before, nor I did find any info online.
Any solution?

Re: Impossible to download update :(
Is it please possible to get a decent version for OS X without this malware, to enable me to install an update for a software that I have paid for. Because as mentionned earlier, all problems starting with updating the 3.2 to a higher version. I hadf to go back as it did not work like 3.2 did. Prefs...

Re: Impossible to download update :(
I presume this explorer.exe is the cause of the troubles I have with Diptrace since I installed 3.3.1.3 and had to go back to use 3.2.0.1, with the issues I mentionned previously.
This file or others???
Very disappointed!

Re: Impossible to download update :(
Okay. I deactivated properly the anti-virus check for download and the download issue was gone.
Once the file was downloaded succesfully, the installation (copying to Applications on Mac), was stopped by the anti-virus.
