copper pour problems

my copper pour doesn't work right now. it used to work perfect. it stays farther away from some things than it should. another thing is sometimes i have to click the copper pour button twice before it activates. never had to do that before. it acts like a bug. i've checked everything i thought could...

i have a part with an ellipse shaped pad. when i generate the MASK gerber, it changes it to an oval pad in the gerber. it shows ellipse in preview. it does the same thing in PASTE gerber. i've regenerated it twice and it does it every time. i must have ellipse shape pad. what is wrong or what can i ...

trace snapping to part

is there a way to keep a trace from snapping to center of a part's pad once it gets close?
i want the trace to stay where i put it.

place a surface mount pad beside the pad you want to connect to.
connect these 2 pads with a smaller trace.
then connect the large trace to surface mount pad.
you may have to adjust the distance between the 2 pads so the larger trace doesn't extend too far.
