Re: Patterns for 7-segment displays
I knew I was going to regret posting the patterns. STEP files are available on GrabCAD as mentioned. I want SEG displayed on my silkscreen, hence why I used it. It would take all of 5 seconds to rename each one and alter the refDES. I only posted them to ease the time to make the footprint dimension...

Re: 7-segments with multi digits non existent in lib !?
Ok, I’ll upload the footprints to the shared section when I am next at my desktop. I’ve only done 3D models of 7-Segments that I have in my parts drawer. If there are any in particular that you require, especially if they are generic and will appeal to a lot more people, then let me know and I’ll be...

Re: 7-segments with multi digits non existent in lib !?
Hi!
I’ve loaded some of my 7-segment 3D models to grabcad over the past few weeks, available via the link on the above post (same username on grabcad and here).
I haven’t done the schematic symbols for these in Diptrace yet, but have done the footprints if you need them?

Re: My 3D models on GrabCAD
Thanks for your response. Whilst I was aware that DipTrace came with a 3D library (which I have downloaded and installed), I prefer to make my own models to assist in learning Fusion 360. I’m slowly getting the hang of it, and it will get me ready for modelling N scale railway items when I get my An...

My 3D models on GrabCAD
Hi all! I'm a DipTrace newbie, having only used the software for the past few weeks, but am enjoying it immensely. I tried both AutoTrax and KiCad but came away disappointed. As I add components to my boards, I have created some 3D models. Feel free to use them: https://grabcad.com/austfox-1/models ...
