Re: Number of Pads differs

Thanks...yes, I synced the PCB to the schematic, prior to the start of the PCB update. Note - If I check Rev D schematic to Rev D of the PCB, no errors. It's only when I check Rev C schematic to Rev D PCB (or visa-versa) that I get this error. I also couldn't find that error in the help or tutorials...

Number of Pads differs

I get the error - " Number of pads differs ", when I use the PCB verification menu item, compare to schematic . The refdes noted is one that I edited. More to the story - I inherited a schematic/PCB set - in production working fine. My task - update one of the PCB patterns for TQFP-100 fro...

Re: following symbolic links - Mac/OS X

I've tested several apps, using the native crossover app. All can find the mounted volume just fine. When I navigate to the mooted volume, DT won't populate the files, or directories on the mounted volume. I tried two paths. via ln -s (symbolic link) and via z:/Volumes. The mounted name shows up, in...

following symbolic links - Mac/OS X

DT 4.0.5, on OSX (aka MAC), Mojave release. (So uses crossover, from code weaver). DT (Schematics, nor an of the other packages) don''t seem to be bale to follow symbolic links for files. Example: original file /Volumes/server/shared_DT_stuff Symbolic link /Users/kevin/DT_stuff (crossover uses drive...

component overlap not flagged

DT PCB let me place a 0402 resistor "underneath" a 64 pin TQFP package - i.e. both components were on the same layer.

Is there a way for DRC to detect this?

Re: Copper pour clearance issues

Tom - thanks... A colleague just pointed out there are actually two copper pours, with the boundary right where the error is occurring. Both copper pours are in the same net - GND, and have the same priority. That has to cause the pour fill algorithm some issues. Why did I design the copper pours th...

Re: Copper pour clearance issues

Relay is Panasonic AGQ200A12Z. Thanks. We've used this part in several other designs w/o issue, with copper pours. The bottom silk is an interesting item to try. I've moved the via and the relay, slightly. It changes where the error is.

Re: Copper pour clearance issues

reposting, as last post didn't show up...

I can't post the design file.

What's notable is the copper pour worked correctly for five of the six pads of the relay, and many, many vias. I did look at the net class, and the rules.
