Only Vias and Traces On An Outer Layer = No Solder Resist
The issue is that if a PCB outer layer only has vias and traces then there is no mask data to tell them to be covered by solder resist. I'm reporting this in the bugs section because vias and traces on the outer layer of the PCB should be covered by solder resist by default to stop possible shorting...

Re: How Do I Make The Whole Bottom Layer Covered In Solder Mask
I would've expected because there are vias and traces on the bottom of the PCB those would be covered by default to stop shorting and copper corrosion but I guess it doesn't work that way. Even if I specify the vias to be "tented" in the "Mask / Paste settings..." nothing changes...

How Do I Make The Whole Bottom Layer Covered In Solder Mask
I'm designing afew simple circuit boards with only a few pads, traces and vias on the top layer and a few vias and traces on the bottom layer. Now for some reason Diptrace is not creating the bottom solder mask layer. If I put an un-needed single small isolated pad on the bottom layer the issue gets...

Re: Pcbway not seeing layers
Another issue I've just had happen is I've got a few Diptrace projects where Diptrace 3d window shows correctly with the solder mask completely covering the bottom layer but the PCBway Gerber viewer shows the bare copper so no solder mask layer at all.

Should I use vias to stop future PCB de-lamination?
As the topics says I'm wondering if I should place lots of direct connected vias on the copper pours to stop possibly the copper de-laminating years down the track. I'm currently designing a few simple 2 layer PCBs with only afew traces and mostly copper plane\pour for the rest of the space. Pic wit...

Re: Pcbway not seeing layers
Easy fix was I placed a mounting hole and a dot on each silkscreen layer outside of the board points.

Pcbway not seeing layers
So I'm building a few simple and small two sided adapter boards that have afew static Via's that go through the board. The only things on the bottom of the boards are the Via's and trace/s that join them together. Now when I load these into pcbway they fail verification with a no bottom solder mask ...

Re: Voltage and Amps Over Traces and Pours
So after submitting my thread I came across the same circuitcalculator link from the reply to your thread. Unfortunately due to the space constraints around the 6pin power connector I won't be able to achieve the 3mm trace width cause it would require me to use 5oz copper which would be ridiculously...

Voltage and Amps Over Traces and Pours
I'm building my 2nd PCB ever and need help on making sure my traces and pours can handle the voltage and amp ratings that will be passing through them. This PCB is a power supply adaptor from a 6pin PC power connector usually found on GPUs to a custom 8pin connector with prongs. It has three GND, th...

Re: PCBWAY Gerber Viewer Sees holes clumped up
UPDATE: Found the problem I was exporting in metric since I designed in metric. Changing the exports to inches fixed it.
