Re: Origin Symbol becoming Detached
If you haven't already, you might double check the pattern in the pattern editor and confirm that the origin cross-hairs are positioned in the center of the component.

Re: Stacked boards interconnection
The last time I was faced with this issue I believe that I created a custom component for one side of the mating pair and numbered the pins to match the other connector. I'm not aware of a cleaner way to do it.

Re: PDF Generation with selectable text
The PDF text is selectable and searchable if TrueType fonts are used.

Re: Position of components on PCB
1. In the PCB Editor, select all of the components, hover over one of the selected components and right click, select "Grid Alignment", select "By Pads" or "By Origin"
2. Hover over a selected component again and Right click, select "Snap to Grid"

Re: Option to use TrueType fonts automatically when printing and use the faster vector fonts for editing/viewing.
I use a True Type font (Consolas) for schematics and I've noticed the same effect when zooming (coarse then rendered). The rendering typically takes about a second on my machine. It's not been a distraction for me but perhaps that's because the schematics I create are not as complex as some others I...

Re: Create schematics from existing PCB Layout?
New components are normally added to the schematic and then propagated to the PCB layout from there. In DipTrace (and historically) the schematic drives the layout.

Re: Proper PDF export (with searchable text etc.)
I can't confirm this for the latest version of DipTrace at the moment, but I believe that if a TrueType font is used in the schematic, and then the schematic is printed to PDF, the resultant document should be searchable. Here is an earlier thread on the subject: https://diptrace.com/forum/viewtopic...

Re: Problem with Title Blocks
As a workaround use the DipTrace drawing tools to create title blocks.

Re: 45 degree wires in schematic?
It would be helpful not to limit the schematic wire angles to 45 degrees. For some analog designs it is not unusual to indicate a single point connection for multiple wires. So having a selectable snap, or no snap, for the angles would be preferred.
