DRC trace width bug

In the following example a 2mm wide trace was manually routed for Net 1 and a second 2mm wide trace was semi-autorouted (right-clicked on pad and chose " Route Net ") for Net 2 . Running the DRC ( D esign R ule C heck) shows a trace width error for Net 2 (the semi-autorouted trace), but not for Net ...

A cursory search yielded this promisin...

Re: Question on library component

If I understand the datasheet correctly, you will need to create a custom pattern for your polyswitch (varistor?) with a name such as " VAR-5x2.6/7.4x1.07 ". You should double-check my dimensions before committing. The pads are an estimate using the documented lead diameter of 0.5106mm (24AWG) plus ...

Re: Component Editor and Layers

That is a legacy feature which is scheduled to be eliminated in the soon-to-be-introduced version 4 . Many users don't care for the old Pattern Editor "logical layers" configuration as it is very limited in its usefulness. The updated program is purported to make the Pattern Editor look and behave m...

Renew Layout from Schematic confirmation

Add a line to the Renew Layout from Schematic confirmation window that warns about the removal of locked components not found in the schematic. Cancelling the process using the [X] button in the upper-right hand corner will still remove components not found in the schematic. This is not an expected ...
