Re: 3.101 drops connection on PCB

Full board with Ground planes on top and bottom, hand routed, learned how to get the via to connect correctly  and also learned the Auto-Router can't read my mind. http://aaes.us/diptrace/wsd.jpg http://aaes.us/diptrace/wsd1.jpg http://aaes.us/diptrace/wsd2.jpg http://aaes.us/diptrace/wsd3.jp...

Re: 3.101 drops connection on PCB

Now I'm confused Schematic: http://aaes.us/diptrace/mws.jpg Top: http://aaes.us/diptrace/mws1.jpg Bottom: http://aaes.us/diptrace/mws2.jpg The top pour is attached to the GND and the bottom pour is +5 The I assigned the left via to GND net so that the via is attached to the top layer (pour) and Pad ...

Re: perfect inside corner

I had the issue of the Raspberry PI HAT compliant radius on the corners and slots, I used TurboCAD to draw the board to HAT spec's in about 2 minutes then saved as DXF. I can fudge a simple rectangle without going too crazy but using X & Y entry reminds me of AutoCAD in the old days. Nice piece of w...

Re: 3.101 drops connection on PCB

I changed the layout to two sided with the connectors and Caps on the bottom BUT: (This is a 1 part test since the whole project blew up) http://aaes.us/diptrace/miniws.jpg I can not figure out the DRC errors, GAP? I looked in help, no help. Basicly I want the smallest board with the ability to stac...

3.101 drops connection on PCB

I drew up a schematic :
Image
But when I use this schematic to create PCB C1 is left floating and C2 connects to D1.
If I delete the +5 buss and add a +5 to each cap I get the same results.

Library Search

Please add parameters to search on: I tried to find a right angle 2.54 Center to Center, DuPont Thru Hole, 3 position. After 35 minutes of searching Mouser.com and pasting the manufactures part number for ALL parts that fit my description I got nothing, every time I searched I would get the No Respo...

WS2812B Component/Pattern/3D

This is the WS2812B with DipTrace ASCII exports of the component and pattern. The 3D drawing was created using guess work since they do not provide detailed drawing, no thickness of device or pads. When the ones I have order arrived I'll create an accurate 3D. The current path to my User 3D files is...

DipTrace 3.1.01 Library issues

I had to create a WS2812B device but when I opened Pattern Editor I had nothing in the User Patterns, I clicked on the Library Tool and selected Add just to find a list of library's without names "No Library File" one after another. After screwing around for awhile I got my pattern build and added i...

Re: DS18B20 temp sensor IC

The DS18B20 is a 1 wire device, this is a digital device. I use them to collect engine temperatures: Exhaust Gas Temperature, Cylinder Head Temperature, Air Intake Temperature, Oil Temperature. On a two cylinder engine it takes 6 probes, 4 cylinder engine 10 probes, with turbo charger 12 probes. All...

Re: Low ohmic shunt resistor direct on PCB copper layer

Would it work by adding a 0603 resistor to one end of your pattern and using a 0 ohm resistor, they cost nothing.

Tried it:

And 3D

No errors
