Hierarchy copy only some copper pours

I have a layout with hierarchy blocks that use copper pours as heatsinks for some components. I'm finding the Hierarchy only copies some copper pours of the first block laid out to the other blocks. Is there any rule as to when copper blocks are copied as part of a Hierarchy copy in PCB layout? - It...

Re: Include Sheet in Schematic

Life.

For the renumbering I copy each block to another file, and then I can control renumbering startfor block, and copy back. Circuit blocks numbered in blocks makes layout easier

Include Sheet in Schematic

Many of my boards reuse circuits.
Is there a way to include my standard circuits as a sheets in another schematic?
Basically these circuits are like a complex component.
I'd prefer not to copy paste to ensure always getting latest version.

Re: ERC ignores the name for power nets until you open setup

Still occurs in DipTrace 3.2.0.1
- Ignores some custom settings for "Electrical Rule Setup" until you open "Electrical Rule Setup",
so first "Electrical Rule Checks" reporting errors even if you already changed some settings like prefixes under "Power Pins for SC"

Multipart Value Differs

Is it normal for the "Value" Field to differ in Multipart Components? I copied an existing Multipart Component, made some changes, then while using I noticed the Value field was 'old' on some of the parts. I thought the Value would be same for all the parts, like the Name/RefDes/etc. (==Value shown ...

Now how did that ever get set? Must be finger trouble.

Thank you

Diptrace3.1 - Gerber Board Outline has Negative X

Gerber may be generated with negative X coordinate for board outline.
(Possibly occurs when some features on other layers have negative X coordinates).

Re: Grid when use mouse versus arrow keys

3) This is it.
Is there a global setting for "Snap to grid by", or does it always default to "by pad pin1" ?

Related Issue:
- I also noticed that "View-Customize Grid" looses my customizations whenever I exit DipTrace - how to make them stay from session to session?

Grid when use mouse versus arrow keys

In PCB layout there is a difference in snapping to grid between: - moving part with mouse (slips off grid) - moving part with Arrow keys (stays on grid) When I move with arrow keys everything stays on grid, but if I move with mouse components shift off grid, even after I manually set their coordinat...
