2.2.9.0b find pattern search problem

Hi,

I am having a problem with the pattern search feature in pcb layout version 2.2.9.0Beta. When I search for a pattern that I know is there, no results come up. When I try in an earlier version it finds the pattern no problems.

Is anybody else having this problem?

Cheers

Automatic pad resizing

Hi Alex, I was wondering if you would be able to add a feature for automatically resizing pads when a trace is routed between 2 pads on lets say an so16 for instance. The first time you tried to route a trace between pads on a particular footprint a dialog box could pop up where you can enter what y...

Re: Selecting multiple items behind overlying component

Hi Andy,

Just right click on the components on top that you do not want to move and select "lock selected". Then you can drag the box around what you want and the locked components will not move.

Re: Please fix the Grouping !!!!

Hi CVMichael, I think what you have done is "group into pattern" When you do this there is a warning that tells you that when you ungroup the pattern that all shapes and pads will then be ungrouped. If you select the components you want to group together and then right click and select "Group" which...

Re: Component find/create

Hi Ben, If you are trying to make a schematic and cannot find these components, See this thread> http://www.diptrace.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4142 However if you are just trying to make a pcb without first making a schematic, look up the components datasheet and find out what each parts footpri...

Re: help??! question about the libraries

Hi Djman123, Could you please be a little more specific, which parts are you looking for in the library? When I go looking for a part in the library I : Click on the objects menu at the top, then click find component, which brings up a dialog box. In the dialog box put in the part name, do not be to...

Importing from Designspark

Hi Guys, I am wondering if anybody has any tips for importing a pcb from Designspark? I have tried outputting from DS as a gerber, but when I import into Diptrace, although I do get the complete board, all of the components parts(pads and silk) are no longer a "component" The traces do not connect a...

ADG1419BCPZ footprint

Hi guys,

I have made a footprint for the ADG1419BCPZ. It is a LFCSP_WD 8 pad package.

Please check the dimensions before using. It is a very small part and was quite difficult to get right!

Cheers

Edit: I had some wrong parameters in the first file(bottom one), came up as msop lib!!

Wow, that became a feature overnight!

Thank you very much for pointing that out, I am a goose! LOL

I must say that Diptrace is a fantastic program, there doesn't seem to be much that can't be done.
