Re: CMOS NAND gates in libraries

Hi Alex- Thanks for the response.
Actually, I thought I had deleted my post, because I discovered that the ball magically appeared once I dropped the part onto the diagram.

All's good. Thanks for the GREAT support!

CMOS NAND gates in libraries

This is not a bug- it's more of an error in the libraries for CMOS NAND gates, like the CD4011, MC14011,etc. The "ball" is missing on the output of the gate that should indicate that the gate is a NAND rather than an AND.

A very trivial thing, and easy to fix, but I thought you'd like to know.

Re: DipTrace Team has the question to our users

Just getting Ultra Librarian to support you would be nice. I just asked the people at Accelerated Designs (Ultra Librarian) about adding the ability to export models in Diptrace format and here's the response I got: I need to see if I can find a someone at Diptrace to talk to. We are always looking...

Remove silk over pads tool

I'm realizing that it would be really handy if there was a tool to remove silk over pads when creating new patterns.

Anyone else?

Thanks!

Diptrace Launcher 3.1.0.1 and mapped drives

I just upgraded to 3.1.0.1 this morning and now I have a problem using mapped drives. The network here at the office is managed, and we have a policy that all design files must reside on a file server so I access them through a mapped drive letter. This worked fine until the version 3.1.0.1 of the l...

Re: DipTrace 3.1 release

When you install models - by default it is installed to C:/Program files/DipTrace/models3d and DipTrace has this folder to find models is set by default I just installed 3.1 on a Windows 8.1 system. I verified that Diptrace is installed in the Program Files directory and not the Program files (x86)...

Re: Updated Libraries with only *in production* components

I don't see any reason to remove obsolete parts from the library (We still use the "USB 1.0 connectors"), but I can see value in being able to select whether you want to see them or not. Perhaps add a checkbox to the search window called "include obsolete"? Of course, all of the libraries would have...

Thanks, Alex!

I'm out of the office today but will try this as soon as I return on Monday.

Re: Topsilk picture dissapears

I noticed the same thing, but it reappears when you view it in 3D. I think this has been reported before.

Custom pad W/ different top & bottom

I need to create a custom pad for soldering some small surface mount photovoltaic cells to a PCB. Ideally, the component side of this pad will be rectangular, 4mm x 13mm. Here's the tricky part: I need to be able to solder the cells from the back side of the PCB, so I need one or more plated through...
