I have the latest version of DipTrace installed and I cannot find any SSOP patterns. Are those patterns part of an separate download?

I read a reference to SSOP patterns in this thread, but that was from 2010 and I figured they would now be included in Diptrace.

Is it possible to rename a fiducial mark? I don't see the name exposed as a property of the object.

I need to enlarge the through hole and pad for just a single component. In the Standard Pad Properties for the part I can change the through hole diameter, but the pad dimensions are disabled. Is it possible to enlarge the pad without having to create an entirely new pattern?

Looking over a PCB layout I noticed this orphaned top glue object on the board (enclosed in green).

What would cause this? Can I simply remove it?

I have a via under an SOIC chip and I am having a problem selecting the via so that I can change its position. The work around I found was to switch to the other side of the board, but that is still awkward.

Is there any way to prevent a part from being selected?

I'm a bit unclear as to what composes a part. A pattern is related to a part, but can't a part have multiple patterns? If I want to use a different pattern for a passive component that has already been placed, why is it necessary to place a new part?
