Re: How do you "split" a wire?
Perhaps it's because, in my case, the net name is the same as the IC pin?

Re: How do you "split" a wire?
The first method works perfectly, even leaving the original net names.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: How do you "split" a wire?
That doesn't solve my problem. I want to separate a network from an IC pin but leave a net wire with the same name. I want to split the net HARD_SYNC coming out of the IC between the pin and R33, but leave a net named HARD_SYNC on the separated ends.

How do you "split" a wire?
Let's say I want to take a network attached to an IC and move it into a separate part of the schematic. How do I "split" the wire connection to the IC, so that the two wire parts share the same net name? The only solution I have found so far is to delete the wire and recreate everything, using the ...

Re: Cant move component value with F10
Did you get a new keyboard? Some of them have dual function keys and you have to press a Function key to change the state.

Re: Dropping via to internal layeer
While routing a trace in DipTrace, when you need to change layers simply left-click where you want to drop a via and hit one of the number keys that corresponds to the new layer. A via will be placed automatically and the selected layer will now become the working layer, allowing you to continue ...

Re: Dropping via to internal layeer
I can't use blind/buried vias, as JLCPCB does not support them. So, I can simply place static vias where I need them and then route on the layer needed? That seem to work okay. I'm used to how Eagle/Fusion 360 operated, where you could drop a via while routing then switch layers to continue routing ...

Dropping via to internal layeer
This is something I have been struggling with for a while. I have a 4 layer board, layer 3 is for power. I have an IC on the bottom layer. I want to start a trace from a power pin on the IC and create a via to the power layer, so I can then complete the trace on the power layer. How is this done on ...

4 layer PCB and copper pours
On a 4 layer board, should there be copper pours on all the layers, regardless of whether they are used for power or signal?

Change net class for multiple nets
Is there a way to select multiple nets and change their class? I only seem to be able to select one net at a time in the net list.
