NC drill file missmatch /

#1 Post by SZA » 26 Feb 2014, 15:53

After generating the NC Drill File , the Manufacturer told me that the file is not matching and asked me to over lap the NC drill file with the TOP layer and check it out.
I need help
a. how to import the top layer as well as the NC drill file at the same time?
While generating the NC Drill file We previewed it, it was fine. An image is attached below. But then after We generated it, We imported only the NC file and it looks in all messed up shape. An image is attached below.
c. how Do we import the NC file like we Preview It?

Import Gerber and NC drill files in third-party Gerber viewer. It will help you to preview Gerbers and drill files at the same time and find the problem manufacturer told.
Using DipTrace as Gerber and drill viewer isn't the best idea because there was an error in NC drill import if metric units were used in drill file. We fixed this problem in the beta version but you can suffer the problem in version 2.3.
Also you can send the board file, Gerber and NC drill file to support at diptrace dot com and I will let you know what is wrong.

to import the top layer as well as the NC drill file at the same time -
Use Import:
'New' for 1st layer
'Add' for 2nd layer
Both layers will then appear on PCB Layout
