The Layout of My Circuit

#1 Post by ling1995 » 13 Jun 2017, 21:50

Hello friends,
I am trying to make a circuit about fan speed controller as my college project. As the following circuit shows:

The circuit is made up by a 12V DC fan speed controller using LM2914CT which is produced by Texas Instruments. According to the datasheet of LM29147CT:http://www.kynix.com/uploadfiles/pdf2286/LM2941CT.pdf,it positive voltage regulator features the ability to source 1A of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 0.5V and a maximum of 1V over the entire temperature range. Furthermore, the LM2941CT is protected from reverse battery installations or two-battery jumps.
I am sure that the IC is suitable for my project. I also got the required output on breadboard, However,I failed to get output on PCB when layout done on eagle software; I guess I don’t know to use the eagle software. So can anyone please help me the layout of this circuit ?It will be of tremendous help.

Appreciate it a lot !

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm2941.pdf

The part LM2941CT-NOPB is searchable, LM2941CT not so much.
Suggestion: Download DipTrace Trial, Watch the Videos, layout the design, and build the board using OSH.
Note PIN 2 is set to ground, you have to enable the device by grounding pin 2.

Eagle, Tango and the derivatives were what we had in the DOS world but when the the GUI appeared some products never matured

I'm always use them - https://www.icrfq.com/ for my little project. For electronics components good enough for me.
