How Can We Judge the Quality of the Voltage Regulator Chip TL431

The TL431 is an integrated precision voltage regulator. The(TL431AIDBZR,215
)can provide accurate reference voltage due to its high control voltage precision and small temperature coefficient. This gadget is also used in switching circuits like battery vehicle chargers, induction cooker circuits, and other instances. This voltage reference integrated circuit with precision is commonly utilized.
A multimeter R1k can be used to test the TL431's quality. The gear of the diode of the digital multimeter may also be used to measure it, and the methods are as follows.
The first step is to measure the(TL431BIDBZR,215
)TL431's anode A with the black test lead and its reference pole R with the red test lead. The number that should be displayed at this time is 1.4, and after changing the test lead, the number should be 1.3.
The second step is to measure the TL431's anode A with the black test pen and its cathode K using the red test pen. The number that should be displayed at this moment is 1, and after changing the test pen, the number should be 0.6.
The next step is to measure the TL431's reference pole R with the red test pen and its cathode K with the black test pen. The number that should be displayed at this moment is 0.7, and after changing the test pen, the number should be 1.
There's also an easier way to test with the PNP socket in the digital multimeter's hEF gear. If we place the TL431's reference pole R in the "E" hole, the anode A in the "B" hole, and the cathode K in the "C" hole, the digital multimeter should read about 431. If the displayed value is more than this value, the chip is likely damaged. If the voltage regulator integrated chip is destroyed and no replacement of the same type is available, we can use KA431, LM431, YL431, etc. to replace it.
