....but I don't know when we finish it. Therefore I can't say when next version is released.----
Why did you change your politics again ?

I was happy to read this in last October
So we decided to speed-up development, reduce the price and publish new minor updates more often to be more competitive.
So please do what you announced and release minor updates with some of the most asked missing features.
This must not be these large things as interactive routing. This can be released when its finished. But you have to think over, if your priorities are always on track.
Please say good bye to these big bang Updates!

Thanks for this great product!
Regards
Andree

We don't change the politics. Minor features and improvements are significant for us too. We will implements some of them for the next version besides major features like interactive router.

Change finally the styles of all Combobox to DropDownList. The current style is very annoying!
When to wait for the new version?

Alex,

I've read what you've written:
We don't change the politics
But as I said, your announcement is now 9 months in the past .... so its not far away now from one year and you
haven't given a concrete date for the next release until now ...

So .... what is the exact meaning of: "...and publish new minor updates more often"

Regards
A.

I published several more topics with critical errors.
Please correct them as soon as possible!
These are very important bugs! Your interactive routing can wait!

Do you understand that by such an attitude towards users you are repelling them of your product???
Our organization is now really thinking about switching to another product, because jambs drag on for years.
You do not want to correct them!

FDA, I've enjoyed, been amused by your rants: "Your interactive routing can wait!" After I got off the floor from uncontrolled laughter and dried my face from the slobber and tears I checked on how long you have been tortured by Diptrace:

If you want an active say in how DipTrace functions apply for a job at DipTrace or buy the company.
Until then do what the rest of us do (that still own DipTrace): Doctor it hurts when I raise my arm (Doctors reply) don't raise your arm. Find a work-around. When I found out it is a 17 step process to put company name or text into a copper pour I selected to use silk screen for the text and moved on...

I have hopes that some day they will add Python and open the API then users can make this product the next CAD giant like Lisp did for AutoCad.
Things I'd like DipTrace to consider:
1. Interactive push and shove routing
2. Pad Stacks
3. Drawing tools that allow common CAD functionality like circle from point and radius, object and grid snaps, chamfer pads. I came to the realization that the drawing tools in DipTrace were there for those without any CAD experience.
4. Project export and archiving.
5. Build a board export with a single click including zipping the Gerber collection + drill file and external build instruction if any.
6. DipTrace Gear, coffee cups, tee shirts.....
And a real bug tracker that users can check status on reported bugs....

I have been raising these issues for many years!
In 2016, I was connected to some of their internal bug tracker. But there my questions remained unresolved!
I just do not understand.
The product is now monetized!
But the developers do not even want to fix the trivia!
