I too struggle with the lack of push and shove: really unworkable without it...
This feature is used extensively by most people, that's why I'm not using Diptrace since I bought it.
(still on my 1998 Ultiboard which has an excellent shove and push... )

(It's like having a car without steering wheel... :) )

I've investigated videos from Cadence and how it resolves different situations. Looks like the principle is the same as we use for current attempt. First attempt was shape-based similar to what DRC or copper pour uses, but that principle was unacceptable for pushing traces. The second worked for pushing single trace (step by step, based on half size grids), but the neck point was its speed when you need to push tens of traces or push to long distance, so I decided not to continue. Third attempt has a bit different principle - it already pushes single trace without vias immediately to any distance, but it requires time to make it works for multi-layer boards (pushing vias correctly), for many traces of different shapes (t-connections, width changes), optimize trace shape, etc. I don't promise it will be fast, but I also understand it is our primary issue at the moment.

XML will be polished a bit (this is first release) and then we will add an option to use it by default for save/open functionality.
Can't wait for this. my git repo got to 500Mb simply because git can't handle binary files well. Saving in XML format would not only improve diffing but will reduce repo size significantly.

Hi All,
We have published 4.3.0.2 update today.
1. This version enables ordering cheap PCBs and assembly from PCBWay: Choose File/Order PCB, select PCBWay as manufacturer and submit order. All necessary files will be sent to PCBWay and you will be forwarded directly to their web-site to specify all parameters, login into your regular PCBWay account, use discounts, coupons, etc.
2. All discovered bugs have been fixed.

Hi! I just have installed the 4.3.0.2 release... And an attempt to start SPICE simulator an error message "<path>/ngspice-34_32.dll not loaded" appears. And After that, a window of simulator is open, and, of course, an error is repeated if I attempt to start the simulation. The schematic is just a simple flip-flop from Example folder. The SPICE netlist seems to be exported in .cir file without problems. That means something is wrong... (WinXP sp3). Could you please help with solving this problem? Thank you! Slava Ukraine!!!

It seems the problem occurs on Windows XP only. We will investigate it in near future. Thank you for the report.

We updated DLL for running SPICE simulator on Windows XP. We verified it on all operation systems mentioned on download page on our web site. Everyone who has the problem with Spice simulator on Windows XP can download corresponding zip archive, unpack and replace dll file in ...\DipTrace\ngspice64\ or ...\DipTrace\ngspice32\ folder depending on 64 or 32 bit version of DipTrace.

Hi,

We have updated DipTrace to 4.3.0.3 today - it includes bug-fixes only. If no critical bugs found, this is probably last build of 4.3.
We are already moving forward to 5.0. Upgrade to 5.0 will be free for all who order DipTrace or upgrade to 4.x starting from November 2022.

Any status on the unusability of DipTrace on Apple M-series processors?
Not functioning on the last two years of Macs is absolutely a critical bug for us users, and a fix was said to be coming with version 4.3...

Hello,

Could you explain in more details how to use opamps in SPICE simulation. Which Model Type from the dropdown list should I use for opamp simulation?
