Lipo Battery C rating debunking
Lipo Battery C rating debunking
Hi all, I am in need of some new Lipos and I am wondering About the "C" rating. I have heard many different opinions from many sources; some say that "no C rating is above 30c" and that higher "isn't possible". In the same breath, I've heard people saying that you should use as high a c rating as you can afford when buying your batteries. Is there any concrete evidence to suggest a trip to either side of this argument? I have been running 40c packs up until now in my 6s savage, but I am building a brushless Baja that requires 8s and wants to make sure I get the C rating right before I commit to 200 quids worth of rubbish batteries.
Re: Lipo Battery C rating debunking
Drone batteries sold at 95C-130C ratings.. And real. We are seeing it at wattmeters, current dataloggers. So higher 35C is not possible is false thought.
And Yes I would choose minimum 75C rating for Baja.
