Problem Res & Cap Networks component library: part 4116R-1

#1 Post by Bobsa » 04 Nov 2017, 03:40

I am having a problem using the "Res & Cap Networks" component library: part 4116R-1

Part 4116R-1 is a 16 pin through-hole DIP component containing 8 separate resistors, each of the same value.

The problem is as follows:
When I insert this component into a schematic I will see, for example, "R1.1"; however I am not able to create "R1.2", R1.3" and so on to "R1.8".

Question: How do I create "Rx.2", Rx.3" and so on to "Rx.8"? ( x = the next automatically assigned resistor component number in the schematic.)

Thanks, Bob

If a part of a multi-part component has not yet been placed, select it using the Part selection tool located directly below the components list. If more than one instance of the same component exists (R1.x, R2.x, R3.x, etc), the next missing component part selected (Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, etc) will belong to the lowest reference designator that is missing that part. For example...

Previously placed component parts
R1.1, R1.2, R1.3
R2.1
R3.1
R4.1

Component part selected
Part 3

Part that will be placed
R2.3
