Changed disk drive letter breaks library references

#1 Post by Exality » 04 Sep 2018, 17:42

In my new computer my disk drives are mapped to different drive letters than before, so all my DipTrace schematic symbols now point to non-existent libraries. I can't update components from libraries.

Is there some way to do a global search/replace on all the library references in my schematic, to change "E:" to "D:"? This affects many schematics and probably hundreds of components altogether.

I think I just found it: export and import to DipTrace ASCII. I can do a text search and replace that way and safely change my drive letter.

Whew...
