Improper text display

#1 Post by Hansel » 15 Jan 2018, 13:36

I've created a pattern for a CLIFF 1384 3.5mm jack. I've put an arrow with the text "FRONT" in the pattern to ensure the pattern isn't oriented incorrectly later when placed on the PCB. However, when the pattern is rotated, the corresponding text doesn't appear to be rotated along with it. I'm not sure if this is intended by design or if this a bug. I think it should be corrected.

Was the text created as a component Marking or a standard text entry?

Built-in text should be rotated with pattern while pattern marking can stay unrotated. Tom's screenshot shows it. You can send board file to support at diptrace dot com and we will check the pattern.
