Why is there a "pin superimposing" notification? Apparently, all it means is that in the schematic there are wires that are overlapping. In many layouts, it is quite common to draw wires from one IC to another, that are overlapping.
More importantly, why is the "pin superimposing" warning associated with "no connection?" The two terms are provided together with the "pin superimposing" notification, yet they are unrelated as far as I can tell.
What is the purpose of the "Pin Superimposing" notification?

Re: What is the purpose of the "Pin Superimposing" notification?
I'm still curious to know the answer to this, because I designed a PCB that worked perfectly, despite Diptrace warning me that there were dozens of "Pin Superimposing" errors. So I still don't see why Diptrace would identify this as a design error.

This subject has been hanging out for a while. Can someone answer with a logical explanation of why this is an error and what harm is done or can this error be removed?

If desired, the test can be disabled by unchecking the [ ]Pin Superimposing option in the Electrical Rule Setup dialog window (main menu > Verification > Electrical Rule Setup...)
