Surface pad not showing via hole?

Hi Guys, I have a surface pad on the back of my board with a via in the center. The via shows up correctly on the top side of board but is coverd by the surface pad on the back? I had thought that the via would have shown that it go's all the way through the board and surface mount pad? I did connect the two to the same net with no luck?

There is small issue in the software. If you place a component with smd pads on already existing through via, its hole becomes invisible. We will fix the issue in next versions. Thanks.
