Create concave SMT pin or convert shape to pin?

#1 Post by EEnh » 22 Apr 2012, 10:21

Some small SMT connectors for RF use pads that have concave shape. For instance, 1 center pad for the coax pin and 2 pads for the feet. These 2 pads are rectangles with part of a circle cut away to control the distance to the center pin.

What would be the easiest way to create this?

ADDED - you guys are pretty tricky :D You can create a simple pad first (by points to get the number of "handles" you need), then right click and convert to shape. The shape can then be manipulated to get the shape you really want, then another right click and convert back to pad. I can see where converting a shape directly to a pad might be a bit more complex, no?
