How do you put the Copyright Symbol on the Silkscreen on a Windows computer?

One should be able to generate a copyright symbol with Alt-0169, but DipTrace doesn't provide standard access to Windows fonts. For legal purposes, (c) [that is, lower-case Cee in parentheses] is considered equivalent; does that help?

It could be worse. For example, I tried to use Alt-0169 to generate a copyright symbol in this message. The symbol showed up properly in the text-entry screen, but then clicking preview or submit caused the forum software to fail horribly. Diptrace does (slightly) better than that.

You could also create a graphic with the copyright symbol and place that on the silk layer.

If you select a TrueType font (instead of a vector font), you can use Alt+0169.

I don't know whether it's a good idea to use a TrueType font or not. I'm new to this myself.

I usually put the letter 'c' and then draw a circle around it.
