Hi,
The RES_0603 pattern in the standard library is of dimension 2.8mm from end of pad to end of pad. An 0603 resistor is only 1.8mm in this dimension. Why does the diptrace standard library so much over-size its resistors pads?
As you know, surface mount soldering machines usually involve the pads being only very minimally oversized.

You appear to be looking in the "General (non IPC)" library. Try the "Res Chip Inch" and "Res Chip Metric" libraries to access the three standard sizes.
