Pin Placement

#1 Post by tlmp » 15 Feb 2022, 11:50

Hello, I'm having trouble placing pins exactly on the grid dots. Some pins land on the grid, while others land in between the grid dots. Is there any way to place pins exactly on the grid points I need them to go? I find this same problem when drawing lines - some line up exactly on the grid points, while others land in between the grid dots. Is there any way to fine adjust them to land exactly on the the grid dots where I need to place them?

You should see "Grid Snap ON" being displayed on the right side of the hint area at the bottom of the screen. Using the hotkey combination [Alt] + [F11] will toggle its state. After making sure it is on, and assuming you're in the Component Editor, right-click on the pin and select "Snap to Grid" in the context menu.

Thank you, Tom. I had hoped that pushing "Control" or "Shift" would get the job done since they're not being used for anything else at the time.
