hierarchy blocks and making a PCB

#1 Post by KevinA » 06 Jan 2020, 02:35

It had been awhile since I couldn't remember the last time I used hierarchy blocks but doing 6 mosfets with all the support was a perfect time to use hierarchy blocks. Everything was looking good until I placed 6 blocks then told DT to make a PCB, the 6 blocks disappeared and only one was there with 6 devices tied to it. After awhile of of trying different things I grabbed the one device on the PCB and discovered there were 5 others under it!
Why is DT stacking hierarchy blocks on top of each other in the PCB editor?

We need to put components anywhere while converting schematic to board. If you don't like stacking components you can run "Placement -> Arrange Components".
