3D export 4.3.0.4

#1 Post by pebbert9 » 04 Feb 2023, 06:41

When I export the 3D step file and open in Solidworks the Top and Bottom of the PCB surfaces are not exported. They are just "holes"

I did a fresh STEP file export from DipTrace 4.3.0.4 and imported it into SolidWorks 2022 SP5.0. On my system it behaves as expected.

SolidWorks can be infuriatingly particular about the video card and video driver. Maybe a video driver update would make a difference.

My problems started after I added a notch to the board and I updated to the latest version.
It looks like the issue is with the board points. I deleted the board and recreated and it's working now.

These points don't work

I've tried to re-create how the board got corrupted but I haven't been able to.

Deleting the board and re-adding worked for me.
