In my schematics, I often want to put an indication of "shield rooms" around certain areas. I can do that with annotation lines, polylines or rectangles, and in the schematic editor, it's clear that the lines are not schematic connections. I can make the lines whatever color I want, and that helps further. However, often I want to print the schematics in black-on-white, and then it is not so obvious that the lines are not schematic connections. It would be helpful to have other line styles; "dashed" lines are commonly used on schematics to show shielding, so that would be my first choice for an additional line style. I can also imagine wanting dotted lines, but that's not as important.
Thanks for your consideration.
Cheers,
Tom
Line styles: dashed, dotted

I agree, this would be a nice feature.

Re: Line styles: dashed, dotted
I also think this is a much needed feature and is possible in all other packages I've used. Juts need a dotted line style.

+1! Thanks for bringing this up.

And even more interest for this feature here...

Re: Line styles: dashed, dotted
These posts are at least four years old now. However, this feature is still sorely needed.
As a bonus, this is probably not difficult to implement.
How about it, DipTrace? Can we have this soon, please!
