copper pour line spacing
copper pour line spacing
Is there some way to adjust the spacing between a copper pour and an interior trace? I would like more space between the trace and the pour.
Re: copper pour line spacing
1) Right-click on the edge/border of the desired copper pour and select Properties... in the pop-up menu to bring up the Copper Pour Properties dialog window.
2) In the Copper Pour Properties dialog window select the [Pouring] tab, make sure the [x]Use Net Clearance option is enabled and click on OK.
3) Right-click on the desired trace, select Net Properties... in the pop-up menu and click on the [All Properties/Edit Classes...] button in the Net Properties dialog window to bring up the Net Classes dialog window.
4) In the list on the left side of the Net Classes dialog window make sure the appropriate net is selected/highlighted (it should already be selected/highlighted), under the [Class Properties] tab change the Clearance: setting to the desired value, click on OK to close the Net Classes dialog window and finally click on OK to close the Net Properties dialog window.
5) Update all copper pours to implement the changes.

BTW - doing compare to schematic I get this - see attached
What does this mean? The pads are not in the schematic? What needs to be done to fix it?

Re: copper pour line spacing
It might mean the schematic and PCB are not in sync. Have you run Renew Layout from Schematic (By Components...), yet?

Re: copper pour line spacing
Ok I was able to fix it. There were pads added to the pcb that were not on the schematic.
Thanks again for your help.
