How to disable the aut-renumbering function

Hello,
I am fairly novice. I have several small project boards that I would like to put together in one board, but when I do so, duplicate ResDefs aren't permitted and automatically get renumbered.
How can I turn off automatic renumbering when pasting together several PCBs, and allow duplicate ResDefs? Please guide me.

Please enable "Edit -> Keep RefDes while Pasting" from the main menu.
