Diptrace appears to be broken on Mac 13.6.3

Download and move to the Applications folder yielded no error messages. On attempt to launch, it does not launch and instead shows a message box "this application is broken and should be moved to the trash." No further clues and I'm not sure when I can look (new to Mac) for more information. Will do so upon request, of course.

Last working version was installed about 12 years ago (I hate upgrading ) in a Virtual Box VM of Windows XP on Ubuntu, awkward but effective. I'd continue to use that except Virtual Box is not available for Mac.

This machine: macbook Air M1 8GB RAM (nothing else running when trying to launch Diptrace) 13.3.6.

Can anyone confirm Diptrace working on such a machine? Any suggestions or is this out of my hands?

It seems you didn't run the xattr command. Please follow the installation instructions: https://diptrace.com/download/download- ... c-install/
Few errors in result of the xattr command are possible and they are OK. The first start takes up to 5 minutes, this is OK also.
