Since you have some relationship with JLCPCB, it would be nice to add the option of multicolored pcb fabrication. Currently they require using their own software which is rudimentary at best, use your old version of Eagle export or an older version of Ki-cad.
Your version of Eagle export has footprint issues for non-round holes. And you don't export to Ki-cad at all.
Maybe it's a gimmick, But it's a colorful gimmick.

Thank you for the suggestion, we will consider the option of multicolored PCB fabrication.

What is really the need for this ? Hobbyist looks 'cool' ? My thought - not needed.

Does that mean you drive a car with square wheels? Round wheels were a requested feature upgrade. But both would get you where you wanted to go.
You are entitled to your opinion, but I didn't ask you for it. And this sub-forum isn't a discussion place for the validity of customer's request. I don't use some features of Diptrace, but I know a lot of others do. And I don't begrudge them for it.
JCLPCB seems to think it is worth investing in to make money. So obviously there is some demand for that product for any number of reasons. Diptrace's developers are the final say in what gets added or not. It's primarily based on customer demand and cost to implement. I wanted to let them know I would like to have that builtin feature added. If others also request it, then it might happen.
I bought into Diptrace, because I wanted an easier way to create pcb designs that can take advantage of new ideas and pcb design evolution. Otherwise I would have stayed with a free 10 year old copy of Eagle that only does round holes.

Interesting reply; per your own " If others also request it, then it might happen. "
Let's see !
