I've had this issue for a little while now and it's getting worse as my boards get more complex. I'm currently working on a 10 layer board, and it's getting incredibly frustrating to have the software stop, freeze, and perform an unwanted DRC check all the time.
After a while of working in the PCB Layout, the software starts performing a real-time DRC check on random mouse clicks, ending up getting more and more until it is on literally every mouse click.
I never have real-time DRC enabled, but I eventually find the checkbox ends up selected by itself.
It's really annoying for the computer to essentially freeze for up to half a minute constantly and randomly.
Is this a know issue and is there a workaround for it?
PCB Layout keeps performing Verification with almost every mouse click.

Thank you for the report. We are not aware of the issue before but will investigate it after the report. How soon does the real-time DRC become enabled or in other words how frequently do you have to disable it? Do you have an observation what toggles the option?

Hi,
I will take some notes and see if there are any patterns or reproduceable sequences of events to trigger the issue.
It seems to be after a number of hours working on a multi layer board, I noticed it on the 10 layer board I am currently working on, but have not had the issue on 2 or 4 layer boards from memory.
I will monitor for the next week or so and reply with my results.
Thanks!
