Custom Title Blocks - saving and loading

#1 Post by Tomg » 25 Jun 2015, 16:27

Allow the user to be able to save custom Title Blocks from the Title Block Editor to a safe directory (one that won't be destroyed when doing things like re-installing DipTrace), just like you can with library, schematic and PCB files now. Title Block files should have a DipTrace-specific file extension such as *.dtb (diptrace title block). Conversely, the user should be able to import custom Title Block files into the Title Block Editor from another directory. The examples below show how these two functions could be implemented in the Title Block Editor...

Once time ago i suggest it and Dip Trace team take me a good slution and now i've got a prsonal title block.
The problem is that is not possible to save in title block a personal logo for example jpeg.
I save an empty template with my logo, but i've got a problem.
Every time i copy this template to make a new design the logo is a blank square and i mus re-import it.
It will be usefull to have a personal template with logo available.

I know this is an old thread, but has there been any progress on this front? I am starting to use this across my small team of engineers now, and having to manually set up everyone's title blocks to the same company standard across every installation is not a very appealing prospect.
