Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a USB-C SMD connector footprint and schematic symbol that matches common board designs (24 pins, reversible orientation). I couldn’t find an exact one in the default DipTrace libraries, and I want to make sure:
The pad pitch and dimensions match typical USB-C receptacles,
The symbol accurately reflects all pins for proper schematic connectivity,
It works well with high-speed differential pairs.
Has anyone already created a reliable library part for this? If so, could you please share the .dcm / .dip / .lib files or point me to where I can download them?
Also open to advice on best practices for placing and routing USB-C connectors in DipTrace.
Thanks in advance!
